S&L Designs is a family-owned woodworking business built on tradition, craftsmanship, and time spent together in the shop. Scott grew up learning woodworking alongside his dad, developing both the skills and the appreciation for creating pieces that last. Those early lessons shaped more than just a hobby — they built a foundation of patience, pride in workmanship, and the belief that craftsmanship should be passed down.

The S&L logo isn't just a brand mark — it's a cattle brand. It contains Scott's three initials: S.A.S. — designed by his father, the man who first put a tool in Scott's hands and taught him that good work takes patience and pride. That brand is stamped into everything we make, a quiet reminder of where this all began and who we're building it for.

As his daughters were growing up, Scott made sure to spend that same kind of time with them in the shop, sharing not only woodworking skills but the value of working with your hands and creating something meaningful. When Lynette joined the family, she embraced that same tradition, becoming an important part of the creative process and the heart behind the business. Today, while their daughters are grown, that legacy remains at the center of everything we build.

At S&L Designs, we create handcrafted hardwood cutting boards, charcuterie boards, custom game boards, and home décor designed to bring people together. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and built in our workshop using quality materials and a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern precision tools. We believe handmade means something. Many of our pieces can be personalized, making them perfect for weddings, gifts, and family gatherings. Our goal is simple — to create lasting pieces that families will enjoy for years to come.
